Meet Our Staff

Sarah, Office Manager

Sarah is the newest addition to our team.   She started as a dental assistant before transferring to front office administration.  She enjoys using her knowledge and experience to help people navigate their dental insurance and finances to get the healthy, happy smiles they want.  

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and her dog, Jazzy.  Sarah likes movies, reading, hiking and taking Jazzy to the park.

Elizabeth, Certified Dental Assistant

Elizabeth has been Dr. Fitzgerald’s primary dental assistant since 2005.  She loves interacting with patients, and works to ensure that all our patients are relaxed, safe and have positive experiences.  When not at work, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, and exploring the outdoors with her husband and daughter.

Heather, Registered Dental Hygienist

Heather’s 20+ year career in dentistry has been exciting and expansive.  Her roots are in the Midwest, and she graduated from William-Rainey Harper College in 1998.  Immediately she found her career in private practice fulfilling; She likes to earn the patients’ trust and support them in understanding their dental journey.  

Heather understands that each person is unique.  She believes it is her job to meet her patients where they are, and help them move toward better overall health by looking at the bigger picture, resulting in happy patients and is professionally gratifying to her.  

Heather returned to school to earn a BS in Healthcare Leadership and a Master’s of Science in Management.  Her career has spanned private practice, Public Health, dental coaching, speaking, and training.  

She likes to listen to dental podcasts, read about the latest dental research, and obtain ongoing continuing education.  She holds her Certificate in Local Anesthesia and is CPR certified.

Currently Heather resides in Tolland, CT with her husband, two active boys and two dogs.  Her hobbies include reading, spin cycling, crafting, hiking and geocaching with her family.
